Green Gang and Working Parties
A volunteer group of members that is available to the green keeper
to maintain our playing surface. If you
feel that you can spare the time your assistance would be welcomed. There are also opportunities to help with
working parties that tend to be needed for intensive activity on the green and
surrounds at the start and end of the season.
A working party is a good opportunity for newer members to participate
in the maintenance of the grounds and meet with other bowlers in a non-game
oriented activity. Please bear in mind
that the default start time for both activities is 9am.
